St Paul Triple 7.6°-1/3L - 11.6fl.oz

Hazed orange/gold color, lacy climbing head. Estery aroma, with some sweet grass. Medium bodied and tightly mannered dryness to the taste. Flavors are of nutmeg, just a slight bit of banana bread and peach. Hops break in to prevent too much fruitiness. Quite a nice beer, not as astringent and puckering as some and yet not a huge bowl of fruit either. Spicy dry and drinkable. Yet another beautiful Sterkens bottle...

St Paul Dubble 6.9°-1/3L - 11.6fl.oz

Beautiful earthenware flip-top bottle, bonus points for that. Pours a clear dark red with a big rocky off white head with amazing lacing. Aroma of molasses, corriander and a bit of orange rind. Taste was a bready front with some chocolate creeping in, and a pleasant burnt toast finish. Buttery thick mouthfeel. Wow this was enjoyable.

St Paul Special 5.5°-1/3L - 11.6fl.oz

The beer extracts from the 330ml dark green bottle luminous deep amber or copper color with a husky head that is semi-creamy in texture the color a nice light tan and as it slowly depreciates the leftover lace forms a velum like curtain to drape the glass. Nose is fruity, fresh and clean, hints of bubble gum, the start is sweet with a personable malt presence, the top light to moderate in feel. Finish is delightfully acidic, the hops delectable in their spiciness, very dry and long lasting aftertaste, nice and pleasant to drink.
