Lambic - Fruit
In the case of Fruit Lambics, whole fruits are traditionally added after spontaneous fermentation has started. Kriek (cherries), Frambroise (raspberries), Pêche (peach) and Cassis (black currant) are common fruits, all producing subtle to intense fruit characters respectively. Once the fruit is added, the beer is subjected to additional maturation before bottling. Malt and hop characters are generally low to allow the fruit to consumer the palate. Alcohol content tends to be low.

Looks like dark cassis juice with a thin, off white head. Very berry aroma, with no sourness or complexity. Interesting balance of sweet, sour and tartness, with the tartness coming out. Doesnt taste anything like a beer, tastes like frizzante cassis juice. Fine carbonation, like an italian frizzante wine. This is a nice drink

Ruby red appearance with a small red/pink head. Thick raspberry smell. Now, you either like the smell of raspberries or you don't- I love the smell- especially here, where it doesn't smell like some sort of cheap extract, but instead fresh fruit. Wonderful- though it's very unbeerlike in taste. Drinkable as hell- but one at a time- too much might be too sweet & give a stomache ache.

Chapeau Banane De Troch 3.5°-1/4L - 8.4fl.oz

Pours a pale golden yellow with a very bubbly, foamy short head. Good carbonation. Nose is immediately bananas, real bananas, not some crappy sugary fake smell. Smells sweet. Taste is sweet. However, not syrupy like most lambics. Very banana-y, very nice, very REAL.

Poured out a pale, cloudy light orange color, topped by a bubbly champagne like head that dissapears quickly. Lace? What lace? The nose is unmistakable apricot, but slightly tropical as well. There is some dry musty yeast notes as well. The taste offers a blend of sweet and sour, with the apricot fruityness leading the way.

Lambic made by spontaneous fermentation, matured in oak barrels. With a fruity taste, slightly cloudy and pleasantly spiced. The Blanche lambic, a white beer made from lambic, is truly unique. A touch of coriander and dry orange peel are the secret recipes of this wonderful fruity beer, slightly cloudy and spicy. Tasted in a hand-made earthenware pitcher, it has no rival.

Beer made with real cherries. Kriek is a wheat beer matured in oak barrels with real cherries. Kriek Lambic is obtained by adding real cherries from Schaarbeek to the Lambic resting in oak casks. 100 kg cherries are used for 1 cask of 650 L lambic. After six to nine months, the cherries are entirely dissolved and the Kriek-Lambic is ready for drinking. This tasty beer must be drunk very cool, the ideal refreshment on a sunny terrace.

Cantillon Kriek is not artificially sweetened ; authentic kriek is unabashedly sour and very, very tart. This beer is not for beginners, but those in the know will agree with virtually every respected beer writer that this is the world-classic cherry lambic. Based on 100% lambic,  with a full bodied aroma of the traditional cherries at a proportion of one kilo per every five liters of beer. Rated a World Classic by both Michael Jackson and Tim Webb (CAMRA Good Beer Guide to Belgium).

"The most famous framboise," according to beer writer Michael Jackson, and an undisputed World Classic – fully authentic, tart, not sweetened with sugar or syrup like all the rest. Whole fresh raspberries are fermented in oak casks of Belgium’s classic beer - beer fermented by wild yeasts borne on the open air. Very dry, tart, and fruity, but also funky and complex, as a natural lambic should be.

This is the real thing - definitely not one of those artificially sweetened soda-pop beers.

Perhaps the best sour cherry beer in the world. Positively loaded with real cherries, which are added whole into slowly fermenting oak casks. Pours a cloudy, ruddy red-orange with a touch of pink. Fluffy, light pink-tan head, good size with excellent retention. Aroma is wonderfully strong and tart, layers of cherry with mostly an acidic, funky and bilious bite. Pretty kick-ass. Flavor has some sharp brett and bile. Imagine gastric reflux with cherry added. Outstanding long finish, amazingly dry and delicious. This beer is so dry and wonderful
